‘Our Daily Bread:
Food Security and the Call to Solidarity’
is a pastoral letter issued by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops for World Day of the Poor.
Centred on the themes of solidarity, harmony, and harvest, the pastoral letter highlights the current challenges to food security, both globally and in Canada. It urges Canadians to consider practical ways they can live in solidarity with those who lack food as well as to ensure that God’s abundant gifts reach all those in need.
