Emmaus Centre

“Now on the same day, two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, and talking with each other about all these things that had happened.  While they were talking and discussing, Jesus himself came near and went with them.” Luke 24: 13-15

Catechetics

Catechetics is the education of all ages in our Roman Catholic faith. In our diocese, families may choose enrollment in parish catechetical classes or a home study option. Information on classes is available from the parishes: click here for parish details or contact our catechetical coordinator for the contact name and number for your parish.
Our diocese uses the Finding God catechetical program from Loyola Press. This program offers learning resources for students, families, pastors and parishes.

Adult Faith Formation
Each of us as an individual has been blessed with our own heart, mind, and free will.
Emmaus Centre supports your individual journey of faith with workshops, retreats, audio, and video recordings, books, and study guides. Our catechetical coordinator and Resource Room staff are available to answer questions, locate resources, and above all provide a friendly voice to remind you that you are not alone.

Resource Room and Bookstore

Our Resource Room and Bookstore provide materials for lending and for sale. Our lending library includes books, study guides, and videos for use by parishes, groups, or individuals.

We carry textbooks, workbooks, and study guides for parish and family catechesis, sacramental preparation, workshops, retreats, and individual discernment. We also carry a selection of greeting cards and gift items to honor and celebrate milestones, sacraments, and special events.

We maintain an inventory of popular items and are pleased to do custom orders for individuals, groups, and events. Visit our location or contact our staff for details.
