The Sacrament of Confirmation
welcomes us to the table of the Lord following the reception of our First Communion.
Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation together are the ‘sacraments of Christian initiation.’
For youth, Confirmation preparation and celebration is often completed in Grade 8 and or Grade 9.
Preparation classes and celebrations are currently on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
When churches are again open to the public and public celebrations resume, a diocesan confirmation schedule will be posted here.
For adults, Confirmation preparation is the Order of Christian Ritual for Adults (OCIA).
Contact your pastor or local parish for inquiries.
Celebrations of confirmation are on hold due to Covid-19 protocols.
When public celebrations resume, the schedule of parish celebrations with Bishop Wayne Kirkpatrick will be posted here.
