NEW APPOINTMENTS
Rev. Andrew Gillies in addition to serving at St. Mary Church, Mabou, will assume pastoral responsibility for St. John the Baptist Church in Brook Village and St. Joseph Church in Glencoe and Immaculate Conception Church in West Lake Ainslie effective October 13, 2023.
Ms. Cathy Walsh will be assuming a new position with the Archdiocese of Halifax / Yarmouth. She has resigned as Vice Chancellor and Archivist with the Diocese of Antigonish. We thank Cathy for her service to our Diocese since October of 2005 and we wish her continued success.
Rev. Thomas MacNeil in addition to serving as Vicar General will serve as Chancellor.
Ms. Paula Kirk in addition to serving as the Executive Assistant to the Bishop will serve as Vice Chancellor.
Ms. Imelda Terry in addition to serving at the Business Office she will serve as the Diocesan Co-Ordinator for Responsible Ministry. We thank Frank Howell for his faithful service in this ministry. He is now serving as State Deputy for the Knights of Columbus. We thank Ms. Patricia Fricker-Bates for her service this past year, especially in renewing our Protocols.
We thank these people for taking on additional responsibilities and we ask for God’s blessing upon them in their new ministries.
