We have the following resources available at the office of worship. You are welcome to borrow them for use in the parish. We will be adding to the resources as we go. If you come across things you think would be useful, let us know and we will build up a library.

THE FAITHFUL REVOLUTION - This resource consists of five videos and a Study Guide. The goal of the video series is to keep alive the vision and spirit of Vatican 11. The material is versatile and has many direct applications for adult education, catechist training, college courses on Vat 11, parish renewal, Catholic identity, and continuing education for specific areas of parish ministry and leadership. The Faithful Revolution is also an ideal resource for study programs focusing on "The Church and the Coming Millennium."

LITURGIES OF THE TRIDUUM - This is a set of three videos: Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil. They explain what we do from the night of Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday. Through vibrant footage and interviews with parishioners, you will discover what Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil can and should be in every parish. Each video comes with a leader guide containing reflection and discussion questions.

SERVE GOD WITH GLADNESS: a MANUAL FOR SERVERS by DAVID Philippart 1998 (LTP) is an excellent resource for training altar servers.

The following Night Prayer is provided as a suggested form of Liturgical Prayer to close the Holy Thursday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament:

NIGHT PRAYER

LEADER:  PROTECT US LORD AS WE STAY AWAKE;
WATCH OVER US AS WE SLEEP,
THAT AWAKE, WE MAY KEEP WATCH WITH CHRIST,
AND ASLEEP, REST IN HIS PEACE.

SCRIPTURE READING:

READER:  O HOPE OF ISRAEL, ITS SAVIOUR IN TIME OF TROUBLE,
WHY SHOULD YOU BE LIKE A STRANGER IN THE LAND,
LIKE A TRAVELER TURNING ASIDE FOR THE NIGHT?
WHY SHOULD YOU BE LIKE SOMEONE CONFUSED,
LIKE A MIGHTY WARRIOR WHO CANNOT GIVE HELP?
YET YOU, O LORD, ARE IN THE MICST OF US,
AND WE ARE CALLED BY YOUR NAME;
DO NOT FORSAKE US!

RESPONSORY
(After a shot period of silence, the reader leads the response)
READER:  INTO YOUR HANDS, LORD, I COMMEND MY SPIRIT.
ALL: INTO YOUR HANDS, LORD, I COMMEND MY SPIRIT
READER: YOU HAVE REDEEMED US, LORD GOD OF TRUTH
ALL: INTO YOUR HANDS, LORD, I COMMEND MY SPIRIT.
READER:  GLORY TO THE FATHER, AND TO THE SON, AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
ALL: INTO YOUR HANDS, LORD, I COMMEND MY SPIRIT.

GOSPEL CANTICLE:
(All stand and make the sign of the cross)

ALL:  LORD NOW YOU LET YOUR SERVANT GO IN PEACE;
YOUR WORD HAS BEEN FULFILLED:
MY OWN EYES HAVE SEEN THE SALVATION
WHICH YOU HAVE PREPARED IN THE SIGHT OF EVERY PEOPLE:
A LIGHT TO REVEAL YOU TO THE NATIONS
AND THE GLORY OF YOUR PEOPLE ISRAEL.
GLORY TO THE FATHER AND TO THE SON AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
AS IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING, IS NOW AND WILL BE FOREVER.AMEN.

LEADER:
LORD JESUS CHRIST,
YOU HAVE GIVEN YOUR FOLLOWERS
AN EXAMPLE OF GENTLENESS AND HUMILITY,
A TASK THAT IS EASY, A BURDEN THAT IS LIGHT.
ACCEPT THE PRAYERS AND WORK OF THIS DAY,
AND GIVE US THE REST THAT WILL STRENGTHEN US
 TO RENDER MORE FAITHFUL SERVICE TO YOU
WHO LIVE AND REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER.

ALL: AMEN
LEADER: MAY THE ALL-POWERFUL LORD GRANT US A RESTFUL NIGHT AND A PEACEFUL DEATH.
ALL: AMEN
