and essential to sharing Church news and healing to parishioners and the public.

These Communication positions report to Bishop Brian Dunn.

Diocesan Spokesperson
Our Diocesan Spokesperson is Rev. Donald MacGillivray.
Fr. Donald provides interviews and quotes in response to media requests, locally, provincially and nationally. He is also Rector of St. Ninian's Cathedral, the seat of the Diocese in Antigonish, NS.

Our Diocesan Webmaster is Deacon Art Riley who was  appointed by Bishop Dunn in June of 2014. His responsibilities include the overall operation, technical support, and maintenance of our website. Art is an active Deacon in our Diocese, and works from his home in Tracadie.

Communications Officer
The position of Communications Officer was created in 2015. 
Jennifer Hatt was hired June 2015 into a part-time contract based out of the Chancery Office in Antigonish.
Jennifer shares her time between the Chancery Office in Antigonish, the Pastoral Centre in Sydney and her home office in New Glasgow.
She is responsible for developing and implementing the diocesan communication plan, oversees the monthly newsletter and Facebook page, and provides communication support to organizations, parishes, and individuals.
