From the Provincial Council:

As President of the Nova Scotia Provincial Council of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada, I want to express congratulations to the Antigonish Diocese on the redevelopment of your Diocesan website.

Communication increases awareness and understanding while showcasing many initiatives of the Diocese.  For many of us and others who access this website, it holds readily available information related to faith formation, diocesan news, contact information, and useful resources in service to Christ.

Faith lives here and I look forward to the continued success of this venue to share the good news.

Joan Bona
Provincial President 2015-16

From our Diocesan Council:

Congratulations on behalf of our CWL members, representing the 39 parish councils in the Diocese of Antigonish, on the creation of this new website. We look forward to this enhanced opportunity to share with people in our faith community the work that we do For God and for Canada. Every day women in our parishes across the diocese strive to carry out the mission of the people of God in tangible ways. We celebrate that.

The Diocesan council has recently launched its own website, antigonishdiocesancwl.ca, which we hope will improve communication to and from the parish councils. Parish councils are the lifeblood of our organization and we need to find ways to serve their needs more effectively. This beautiful website will help us to achieve that goal. Thank you from all of us.

Yours in faith,

Jessie Parkinson
Antigonish Diocesan President 2015-2017
