From Bishop Brian Dunn:

The Augustinian Nuns at Monastery need the support of the diocese as they try to overturn the decision of their superiors about the sale of their monastery. This sale would make the presence of the nuns in this diocese very tenuous. Please support their petition.
Thank you for your assistance.

From Mother Gloria:

The Augustinian Nuns at Our Lady of Grace Monastery, Monastery, NS are in danger of losing their home.

When the nuns came in 2007 they were promised that they would be given a parcel of land containing approximately 174 acres along with the monastery, other buildings and the Shrine. Later the headquarters for the Augustinians was moved from Ontario to Chicago, IL. The leadership there reneged on the promise made by the Canadians and recently put the monastery on the market for sale.

Mother Gloria, the Prior at the Monastery, has written a letter to the newly appointed Prior in Chicago requesting that he honor the original promise. The letter was accompanied by a petition signed by a number of supporters and a notice to the Prior that additional petition lists would be forwarded afterward.
