Webinar: The Sacrament of Penance

For priests, deacons, men and women religious, lay ministers, and those involved in vocations, formation, or clergy and ministry personnel needs.

Overview:

Rev. David Songy, O.F.M.Cap., S.T.D., Psy.D., a licensed clinical psychologist and spiritual director, explores the relationship between the sacrament of confession and ongoing spiritual growth.

Participants will:
1. Discuss the nature of conversion as the purpose of the sacrament of penance;
2. Explore two models for an examination of conscience; and
3. Reflect on a process for general confession in key moments of spiritual development.

Palm Sunday Holy Hour 

 Location:

Holy Redeemer Church, Whitney Pier, Sydney

About:
It will include a walk of the cross around the church. Fr Paul Murphy will facilitate Eucharistic Adoration. Taylor and Frances Burton will play music throughout the holy hour, which will conclude with divine mercy and benediction.

An Adaptation of Clarence Enzler's EVERYONE'S WAY OF THE CROSS

About:
The presentation is a series of tableaus that depict the 14 stations of the Cross. During each tableau a hymn will be sung by the choir that has been assembled by the Musical Director, Emery VandeWiel.

It includes narration, appropriate music and realistic depictions of the life of Jesus, Prophet and Saviour. Everyone is invited. Come early for a good seat.
