  • Letter from Most Rev. Brian Dunn, Bishop of Antigonish, concerning Pastoral Planning in the Diocese.
    "Dear Parishioners of the Diocese of Antigonish,
    I wish to address the entire diocese on an important issue that touches all of us in some way. Since I have come to the diocese, one of my concerns is to ensure that parishioners get the pastoral care that they need for their spiritual lives. To this end, I have established a Pastoral Planning Committee to consider the most effective ways of serving the people of the Diocese through the preaching of the Word of God and the provision of the sacramental life."     (Background: In October of this year, representatives from Conferences of Bishops from around the world will gather in Rome for a Synod of Bishops to discuss and reflect on "the New Evangelization".
